After many years working for major corporations, we
decided to combine our professional service
experience with our love for animals and start our own
business... MT's Welcome Waggin'.

Our mission is to provide professional, customized
home and pet sitting services that meet the special
needs of both our people clients and our animal
clients.

Hello and thank you for checking out our website!
We've lived in Tracy since 1995 and love the people
and pets here! We're excited about our new business
and working with our clients to care for their home and
pet needs. As pet owners ourselves, we know how
important it is to find just the right people to care for our
animal family when we're away. We are very particular
about who we allow in our home and we know you are
too. That's why we take pride in providing professional
pet services that allow our clients to be away from
home without any added worry.

Pets are most comfortable in their own surroundings.
This is especially true as our pets reach their geriatric
years. Based on our personal experience raising cats
and dogs, we understand the health related
complications that arise as our pets age. As our pets
age they become less willing to venture far from home
and develop physical limitations and ailments. The
goal then is to make our beloved pets as comfortable
as possible. Surrounding them with things that are
familiar and keeping their routine as normal as
possible is key. The best place to accomplish this is
at home.

When our pets have special care needs, we often don’t
want to burden or bother friends and family with the
care requirements when we are away. Many people
opt to place their animals in a kennel which may be the
best choice if your animal/s need 24/7 care. However,
since pets are most comfortable in their own
surroundings, a kennel can be very stressful and
overwhelming, particularly for a pet that is not
accustomed to being away from home. Also, if an
owner has several pets they must board, a kennel can
be quite expensive. What we offer is an in-home
customized solution for our clients and their pets. You
tell us your daily routine and your pets schedule and
our job is to provide a plan that meets your needs at a
reasonable cost. In addition, we are available at all
times to answer questions and concerns while clients
are away. We provide regular email updates and/or
phone calls to make sure clients are without worry
while they are away from home.

Meet Michelle & Teri

Michelle and Teri both worked for a major
telecommunications company for a combined total of
over 45 years. In addition to an accomplished career
in the telecommunications industry, Michelle
graduated from the California Culinary Academy with
an A.S. in Le Cordon Bleu - Culinary Arts. She's
worked in the culinary field for two years and is also a
private chef. Teri has a B.S. in Organizational
Behavior and M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the
University of San Francisco. Teri volunteers her time
working with children in the local schools.
